AFB Awards

Eligibility: An active senior AFB member aged above 50 years with a  distinguished record of contributions in fungal biodiversity, taxonomy,  systematics, and applied research, including industrial applications. 

Eligibility: Young active faculty or professionals aged 45 years or below, with notable contributions in fungal biodiversity, taxonomy, systematics, and applications. 

Note: Only permanent faculty/ professionals are eligible. Ph.D. scholars are not eligible for this award. 

Eligibility: Registered, bonafide Ph.D. scholars aged 35 years or below with significant contributions in fungal biodiversity, taxonomy, phylogeny, systematics, and applications. 

Note: Permanent faculty, teachers, and post-doctoral fellows are not eligible for this award.  

Eligibility: The award is open to research scholars under the age of 35 years who have made outstanding contributions to aquatic mycology, including fungal biodiversity, taxonomy, phylogeny, systematics, and ecological or applied aspects of aquatic fungi.
